Our vision for SISTAIN is really a vision for the planet.
A vision more beautiful than the current trajectory. A world where we take care of the earth. One in which we do everything we can to reduce the negative effects of consumerism. A dream within which we clearly understand where the products we are purchasing are coming from and we only support brands who are doing everything they can to take care of the planet and all of the people who support the product’s creation. A lifestyle where conscious consumerism becomes easier, more accessible and attainable to all humans.
Imagine this world where we hold brands to a higher standard. A world in which we empower people to author the planet’s recovery by inspiring millions of people to make small sustainable changes every single day—always encouraging progress over perfection. Where we unite as consumers to vote with our dollar, aligning our values with our behaviors. One in which we make a massive, measurable collective impact. Reevaluating constantly to see how we can improve. Creating feedback loops and spaces for knowledge-sharing, so we can learn and progress faster, come up with solutions collaboratively and make a larger impact. Jaclyn Tracy is the founder of SISTAIN. Her goal is to make a greater difference by educating, activating and making sustainable consumerism not only easier, but aspirational. She believes success is in the collective impact, getting a whole group of people to change their behavior by committing to choosing sustainable brands, less waste and imperfect progress.
