The Naturepedic Classic Organic 2-Stage Innerspring Crib Mattress is easy to clean and uniquely designed to provide long-lasting support. This mattress features a seamless waterproof surface made from non-GMO sugarcane with a firmer side for infants and a medium-firm side for growing toddlers. GOTS certified organic, EWG VERIFIED® and certified MADE SAFE®, Naturepedic mattresses are made without polyurethane foam, flame retardants, phthalates, fiberglass, formaldehyde, GMOs, glues or potential allergens.

Naturepedic sources only certified organic materials for their mattresses: All their cotton is certified with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), and their latex is certified either Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS) or Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Naturepedic also has many other certifications to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability, including but not limited to MADE SAFE, Organic Content Standard, Vegan Certified, and Green America. All their mattresses are free of toxic chemicals such as flame retardants, phthalates and formaldehyde. Naturepedic is also taking steps to minimize waste: Their mattress springs are made from recycled steel, to reduce carbon emissions and energy use, and they are in association with the Mattress Recycling Council, which provides nationwide support for the removal and recycling of mattresses to minimize the amount of mattresses that end up in landfills.
